All These DUMB idols...

Hey TP, how was yesterday? mine started great then slowed down some place around the day (almost going to the negative).. then picked up later.... my Father was just laughing throughout yesterday when i tried to go through the day with out Him (i dey form like say i be James Bond)..... when things didn't then go according to My plan i started vexing... anyway that's story for another day.... got home then planned to pray with a friend at night over the phone (nor dey look me like big boy... na for mid-night call).... but i was so beat ... i actually woke up looked at the phone then said in my mind "If i receive this call, i wont be able to wake up to go to work".... i got up this morning only for it to dawn on me that i blew off a wonderful prayer session because of my job,.... sound familiar? .... i blew off a Sunday service because i didn't have an ironed shirt, i blew of a church meeting because they were playing a football match,.... all these things are only as important as you make them to be,... because they seem important and fulfilling on the outside but believe me, they are as empty on the in side as those meat-pie (or just pie) that they sell on Lagos-Ibadan expressway hold-up... very beautiful and appetizing on the outside but empty on the inside,... after consuming it you feel like it... empty... in Habakkuk...."Woe unto him that saith to the wood (Job, fashion, entertainment), Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it [is] laid over with gold and silver, and [there is] no breath at all in the midst of it.".we have made all these things our idols... "why engage in things that do not satisfy?"...... delight in His ways and everything and i repeat everything would be added unto you.......
